After Marcelo Allende's opener was cancelled out by Bradley Grobler's equalizer, substitute Iqraam Rayners proved to be the match-winner with a stunning brace in the final ten minutes. The Brazilian's tactical adjustments paid dividends as Sundowns' superior squad depth and quality told in the closing stages, with the home side's relentless pressure finally breaking Sekhukhune's stubborn resistance. This vital three points keeps Sundowns firmly in the title race conversation, while Sekhukhune will rue their inability to hold onto a precious point that slipped through their fingers in cruel fashion.
