Durban City secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Marumo Gallants through Saziso Magawana's early second-half strike. The visitors made the perfect start to the second period when Magawana found the net just a minute after the restart, capitalizing on what appeared to be a well-worked move. Gallants struggled to respond effectively, with discipline becoming an issue as they picked up multiple yellow cards including one for simulation. The result boosts Durban City's campaign significantly while leaving Gallants frustrated after failing to break down a resolute visiting defense that protected their slender advantage throughout the remaining 44 minutes.
