Aldershot Town snatched a crucial 2-0 victory at Morecambe with two goals in the final three minutes, capitalizing on their attacking substitutions. The Shots looked set for frustration until fresh legs made the difference - substitute Kwame Thomas broke the deadlock in the 87th minute just three minutes after entering the fray. The visitors then sealed the points with a penalty converted by Ryan Hill in the 90th minute. This smash-and-grab victory will boost Aldershot's league position significantly, while Morecambe will rue their inability to see out what looked destined to be a goalless draw after a defensively solid performance for most of the contest.
