Outstanding performance
Al Hilal•AttackerAl Riyadh held Pro League giants Al Hilal to a hard-fought 1-1 draw in a match that showcased both teams' attacking quality and defensive frailties. Marcos Leonardo gave the visitors an early advantage with a well-taken 26th-minute strike, capitalizing on Al Hilal's superior star power and technical ability in the opening exchanges. However, Al Riyadh responded with determination after the break, with Ibrahim Bayesh finding the equalizer just before the hour mark to level proceedings. The match turned increasingly scrappy in the final stages, culminating in Al Hilal defender Marzouq Tambakti's dismissal for time-wasting, leaving the title contenders to settle for a point that does little to boost their championship ambitions.
