Al Khaleej•AttackerAl Khaleej mounted a spirited comeback to claim a crucial 2-1 victory over Al Hazm in this relegation six-pointer. After falling behind to Nawaf Al-Habashi's 54th-minute opener, the home side responded immediately through Konstantinos Fortounis' penalty before Georgios Masouras struck the winner with 18 minutes remaining. The Greek duo proved instrumental in Al Khaleej's fightback, with their experience shining through in a scrappy encounter that featured six yellow cards and multiple tactical switches from both managers. This vital three points could prove decisive in Al Khaleej's battle to avoid the drop, while Al Hazm's inability to hold their lead leaves them vulnerable at the foot of the table.
