Al Taawoun delivered a commanding first-hour performance to secure a crucial 3-2 victory over Al Fateh, despite a nervy finish at home. Roger Martínez was the standout performer, converting a penalty on the stroke of half-time before adding a second goal in the 63rd minute to put the hosts in complete control. The visitors' task became even harder when Fernando Pacheco's own goal made it 3-0, but Al Fateh showed tremendous character in the final stages. Jefferson Ramos pulled one back immediately after his introduction, and Ali Al-Masoud's 90th-minute strike set up a frantic finale that ultimately came too late to deny Al Taawoun all three points.
