Outstanding performance
Al Shabab•MidfielderAl Shabab secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Al Akhdoud with Yannick Carrasco orchestrating the win from the right flank. The home side took control early when Carrasco won a penalty that Abderrazak Hamdallah converted in the 19th minute, before Carrasco himself doubled the advantage with a well-taken goal just before the hour mark. Al Akhdoud struggled to create meaningful chances throughout and resorted to physical play, picking up four yellow cards as frustration mounted. This victory moves Al Shabab up the Pro League table and extends their positive form, while Al Akhdoud's defensive frailties continue to cost them points in crucial fixtures.
