Outstanding performance
NEOM SC•MidfielderAl Najma pulled off a remarkable smash-and-grab victory despite being dominated throughout by NEOM SC. The hosts took a dramatic two-goal lead just before and after halftime through Mohammed Al Aqal and Bilal Boutobba, though Al Aqal was immediately sent off for dissent. Despite facing relentless pressure with NEOM SC enjoying 77% possession and registering 33 shots to Al Najma's 6, the home side defended resolutely to secure three crucial points. NEOM SC's profligacy in front of goal proved costly as they managed only 4 shots on target from their 100 dangerous attacks and missed 2 big chances.
