Outstanding performance
Al Taawoun•DefenderAl Kholood secured a crucial 2-1 victory despite being outplayed for large portions of the match, showcasing clinical finishing against Al Taawoun's dominance. The visitors struck early through a Shaquille Pinas penalty after just four minutes, but Al Taawoun responded immediately with Mohammed Waleed Al-Dossary's equalizer. Guga's 23rd-minute winner proved decisive as Al Kholood defended resolutely despite facing 17 shots and conceding 59% possession. The match descended into chaos in the latter stages with numerous bookings stemming from frustration, as Al Taawoun's territorial advantage and 54 dangerous attacks ultimately came to nothing against a well-organized Al Kholood side that made their limited chances count.
