Outstanding performance
NEOM SC•MidfielderNEOM SC pulled off a stunning comeback victory in a seven-goal thriller, with substitute Alaa Hejji scoring the winner in the 90th minute. After falling 2-0 behind early through strikes from Saïd Benrahma and Luciano Rodríguez, Al Ittihad looked in control and fought back through a Youssef En-Nesyri brace before halftime and Houssem Aouar's goal after the break. However, NEOM's persistence paid off as they created more chances throughout the match (19 shots to 11), with Muhanad Al-Saad equalizing before Hejji's dramatic late intervention. Despite Al Ittihad dominating possession (57%), NEOM's more direct approach and clinical finishing in key moments secured a vital three points that could prove crucial in their league campaign.
How entertaining was this match?
Al Ittihad look to build on recent momentum when they host NEOM SC at Alinma Stadium. Both sides sit in mid-table but the hosts carry superior form and home advantage into this encounter.
