Vitesse secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Jong PSV in the Eerste Divisie, with goals from Nino Zonneveld and João Pinto settling the contest. Zonneveld broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute, capitalizing on what appeared to be a defensive lapse from the young PSV side. The visitors doubled their advantage ten minutes into the second half through Pinto's clinical finish, effectively killing off any hopes of a comeback. Jong PSV's coaching staff made wholesale changes in the final half-hour, bringing on five substitutes in an attempt to salvage something from the match, but Vitesse's organized defensive display ensured they claimed all three points to strengthen their position in the division.
