Outstanding performance
Qarabağ•AttackerQarabağ pulled off a stunning Champions League victory with a dramatic late winner from Bahlul Mustafazada in the 90th minute, capping off a thrilling encounter at home. The Azerbaijani side showed remarkable resilience after Frankfurt's Farès Chaïbi converted a 78th-minute penalty to put the visitors ahead, with Camilo Durán proving the hero by equalizing just two minutes later before Mustafazada's decisive strike. Durán was the standout performer with a brilliant brace, first giving Qarabağ an early lead before his crucial equalizer set up the grandstand finish. This vital three points significantly boosts Qarabağ's hopes of progressing from the group stage, while Frankfurt will rue their inability to see out the match after taking the lead so late in proceedings.
Eintracht Frankfurt travel to Baku in chaos after sacking head coach Dino Toppmöller, needing wins in their final two Champions League games to avoid elimination. Qarabag sit in the playoff spots but know a home victory against the struggling Germans could secure their knockout stage qualification.
