Outstanding performance
Central Coast Mariners•MidfielderCentral Coast Mariners delivered a clinical away performance to defeat Macarthur 3-1, with the match effectively decided by two crucial red cards that left the hosts with nine men. A. McCalmont's first-half penalty gave the Mariners control before B. Brandtman doubled the advantage midway through the second half. Though Anthony Caceres briefly gave Macarthur hope with a well-taken goal, Tomislav Uskok's dismissal for a foul and Alex Robinson's professional foul red card killed any comeback hopes. Nathanael Blair's late strike sealed a comprehensive victory that showcases the Mariners' ability to capitalize on numerical advantages and maintain composure under pressure.
