“Inter make triple substitution bringing on Dumfries, Thuram and Zieliński in desperate search for breakthrough”
“Como respond with defensive reinforcements as Van der Brempt and Alberto Moreno enter to preserve clean sheet”
Como
Inter
Como produced a resolute defensive display to hold Inter to a goalless draw in this Coppa Italia encounter, frustrating the Nerazzurri's attacking ambitions throughout. The match was defined by tactical caution from both sides, with neither team able to create clear-cut chances despite Inter's dominance in possession. Both managers made wholesale changes in the second half, with Inter introducing Dumfries, Thuram, and Zieliński on 58 minutes in search of a breakthrough, while Como responded with fresh legs to maintain their disciplined shape. The stalemate leaves both teams to fight another day, with the tie likely heading to extra time or penalties to determine progression.
