Umm-Salal SC and Al Wakrah played out a thrilling 2-2 draw that swung back and forth throughout the 90 minutes. Al Wakrah struck first through Yusuf Abdurisag after early tactical adjustments, but Abdulrahman Faiz Al Rashidi's equalizer kept the hosts in contention before the break. Oussama Tannane looked to have secured all three points for Umm-Salal with a 73rd-minute strike, only for Redouane Berkane to rescue a dramatic point for Al Wakrah two minutes from time. The result maintains both teams' mid-table positions in what proved to be an evenly-contested Stars League encounter with plenty of tactical tweaks from both benches.
