Outstanding performance
Cruzeiro•MidfielderCruzeiro showed impressive resilience to overcome an early deficit and claim all three points in a match that swung dramatically after halftime. Bragantino took an early lead through José Andrés Hurtado's clinical finish from the right side of the box, but Néiser Villarreal's equalizer just after the quarter-hour mark shifted momentum. The turning point came five minutes into the second half when Christian converted Keny Arroyo's assist to complete the comeback. Despite Bragantino edging possession (51%) and creating more dangerous attacks (29 vs 27), Cruzeiro proved more clinical in front of goal, converting five big chances while their opponents failed to capitalize on any of theirs.
