Outstanding performance
Bahia•AttackerBahia delivered a commanding first-half performance to secure a convincing 3-0 victory over Athletico Paranaense at home. Everaldo was the standout performer, netting twice in the opening 35 minutes with clinical finishes - first a powerful header from Jean Lucas's delivery, then a precise right-footed effort assisted by Luciano Juba. The home side controlled proceedings from the early stages, capitalizing on set-piece opportunities and fluid attacking play down the flanks. This comprehensive victory lifts Bahia's momentum in Serie A, while Athletico's struggles continued as they failed to mount any meaningful response after the early setback.
