Outstanding performance
Atlético Mineiro•GoalkeeperAtlético Mineiro secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Internacional thanks to Tomás Cuello's early strike, capitalizing on a lightning-fast counter-attack just two minutes after Internacional's initial threat. The hosts took advantage of their opponent's high line immediately after defending a corner kick, with Hulk's vision setting up Cuello for a clinical finish into the bottom corner. Internacional dominated possession and created numerous chances throughout the match but were unable to find an equalizer despite their territorial advantage. This victory provides vital breathing room for Atlético Mineiro in their fight against relegation, while Internacional's inability to convert their pressure into goals continues their inconsistent form in the Serie A campaign.
