Flamengo
Flamengo secured a crucial 2-1 victory at Vitória in a match that highlighted their title credentials despite a late scare. The visitors dominated the first half through Erick Pulgar's spectacular opener from outside the box and Everton's clinical finish just before the break. However, Matheuzinho's early second-half strike for Vitória set up a tense finale as the hosts pushed for an equalizer. Flamengo's tactical discipline and individual quality from Pulgar and Everton proved decisive, while Vitória's late surge wasn't quite enough to salvage a point in their fight against relegation.
