Outstanding performance
Basel•MidfielderBasel staged a remarkable late comeback to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in this Super League encounter. Zürich looked set for three points after Ilan Sauter's early opener and disciplined defensive display, but the match exploded into life in the final minutes. Xherdan Shaqiri's penalty in the 90th minute appeared to have salvaged a point for Basel, only for substitute Ibrahim Salah to complete the dramatic turnaround moments later. The victory will provide crucial momentum for Basel's campaign, while Zürich will rue failing to hold onto what seemed a well-earned lead after controlling proceedings for the majority of the contest.
