3 – 2
Did it deliver?
The first half delivered everything the billing promised, with five goals' worth of swings and two coaches sent off. The second half faded badly, with just one important moment, so the match fell short of its hype over the full 90.
Bodø / Glimt won a chaotic first half and then defended a one-goal lead in a flat second. They went 2-0 up through a Henrik Falchener own goal on 4 minutes and Andreas Helmersen's finish on 15. Viking hit back through Kristoffer Haugen (32′) and Erik Botheim (39′), a header from Haugen's assist. Hauge restored the lead within four minutes, finishing a move created by Saltnes. Viking finished with 60% possession, 17 shots to 12 and 73 dangerous attacks to 50, but only 5 of those shots were on target. Glimt had just 3 on target and still won, so they were more clinical when it counted. Both coaches, Morten Jensen and Kjetil Knutsen, were sent off for arguing at the break, which showed how heated it had become. Viking will regret an opening that left them chasing the game and a second half in which their territory brought little reward. Glimt hold on to the points in a result that keeps pressure on the league's top end.

Second-placed Bodø/Glimt host league leaders Viking in a title-race clash, with only three points separating them and five rounds left. A Glimt win would level the table, while a Viking win would stretch their lead to six. Viking's 5–0 win earlier this season adds extra spice for the hosts.
