Start controlled large swathes of this match, dominating possession 57-43 and racking up a staggering 76 dangerous attacks to HamKam's 21, yet it was HamKam who left with all three points. A 35th-minute VAR penalty and a John Norheim equaliser either side of halftime set the tone for a tight first half, before Loris Mettler's follow-up strike put HamKam ahead for good just after the break. The game looked settled until substitute Mohamed Ofkir came off the bench and single-handedly ended it, scoring in the 74th and 90th minutes to turn a narrow lead into a comfortable victory. Erlend Segberg's stoppage-time consolation did little to soften the blow for a Start side that created more but ultimately paid for missing two big chances against a HamKam attack that was ruthlessly efficient with far less of the ball.
