Outstanding performance

Bodø/Glimt's dominance was total from the opening whistle, racking up 78% possession and 25 shots to Kristiansund's 4, and they were rewarded early when Jesper Isaksen's own goal put them ahead inside the first half hour. Ola Brynhildsen doubled the lead just before the break with a composed finish, capping a first half where Glimt created chance after chance without fully putting the game to bed. Kristiansund, playing almost entirely on the counter with just 22% possession, found a way back through Leander Alvheim early in the second half, briefly threatening a real smash-and-grab result. But Glimt's relentless pressure proved too much - another own goal, this time from Frederik Flex, restored the cushion before Andreas Helmersen's well-taken finish in the 79th minute sealed a comfortable 3-1 win that reflected the gulf in control, chances created, and overall quality on the day.
