Outstanding performance

HamKam started brightly, catching Molde cold through Jalal Abdullai inside five minutes, but the lead lasted only until the break as Mohamed Ofkir levelled right on the stroke of half-time. From there it was one-way traffic - Molde's superior quality in behind the HamKam defence, evident in their 12 counter-attacks to just 1, proved decisive as Trent Koné-Doherty ran riot with three goals in a 28-minute span either side of the hour. Kristian Lonebu added a fifth in injury time to complete a demolition that saw Molde outshoot their hosts 18-15 and create the clearer chances despite HamKam's dominance at set-pieces with six corners to two. The result underlines Molde's credentials near the top of the table, while HamKam, already fighting relegation trouble, will have to regroup quickly after conceding four unanswered goals in the second half.
