Pivotal“Henrik Bjørdal equalizes deep into stoppage time to rescue a point for Viking”
PivotalOutstanding performance

Sandefjord looked to be heading for a famous win over ten men after Jesper Daland's professional foul reduced Viking to ten just before the break, and Tobias Børkeeiet made the numerical advantage count with a well-taken finish in the 60th minute. But Viking, despite being down a man and trailing for a full 30 minutes, kept pushing forward and their pressure paid off when substitute Henrik Bjørdal struck in the dying seconds to snatch a point. The visitors actually out-shot their hosts 18 to 12 and created two big chances against none for Sandefjord, showing more attacking intent even while playing short-handed. It was a cruel result for Sandefjord, who managed just one shot on target all match but still couldn't hold on to a lead their discipline and game management had otherwise protected for half an hour.
