Outstanding performance
Viking•MidfielderViking showed resilience and clinical finishing to edge out Brann in a thrilling encounter at home. The hosts controlled proceedings with 56% possession and 17 shots, demonstrating their attacking intent throughout. Sondre Bjørshol emerged as the hero with a dramatic 90th-minute winner just four minutes after coming on as a substitute. The match swung back and forth with both teams trading goals, but Viking's superior shot count and dangerous attacks (46 to Brann's 34) eventually told. This victory strengthens Viking's position in the upper half of the table while Brann will rue their inability to hold onto their equalizer in the final stages.
