Outstanding performance
Lillestrøm•MidfielderLillestrøm delivered a commanding performance to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory over Start, with Markus Karlsbakk's first-half brace setting the foundation for the win. The hosts controlled proceedings with 60% possession and superior passing accuracy (78% vs 63%), translating their dominance into clinical finishing through Karlsbakk's double before the break and Felix Vá's third goal in the 68th minute. Start's task became increasingly difficult as they accumulated yellow cards and struggled to match Lillestrøm's tempo, managing only a consolation goal through substitute Ousmane Diallo Toure with ten minutes remaining. The comprehensive victory strengthens Lillestrøm's position in the table and highlights their attacking prowess, while Start will need to address their disciplinary issues after collecting multiple bookings in a frustrating afternoon.
