San Lorenzo
Deportivo Riestra let a precious lead slip away as San Lorenzo salvaged a crucial point in a hard-fought encounter at the Guillermo Laza. Antony Alonso's first-half strike gave the home side the advantage after Jonathan Herrera's blocked effort fell perfectly for the striker inside the box. However, San Lorenzo's persistence with set pieces finally paid dividends late in the contest when substitute Alexis Cuello rose to power home Facundo Gulli's corner delivery with just 12 minutes remaining. The result maintains both teams' mid-table positions, though Riestra will rue their inability to see out what would have been a morale-boosting victory in front of their home supporters.
