Talleres Córdoba

Outstanding performance
Belgrano•GoalkeeperTalleres dominated the underlying numbers, out-shooting Belgrano 15-6 and creating far more danger with 39 dangerous attacks to Belgrano's 27, but wastefulness in front of goal proved costly. Belgrano's goalkeeper was the busiest man on the pitch, producing six saves to keep the hosts out and preserve a platform for a late sucker-punch. The game was tight and tactical for long periods before boiling over after the hour mark, with five cards shown between the 65th and 84th minute as tempers flared in a fiercely contested derby. Substitute Ramiro Hernandes proved the difference, latching onto a Nicolas Fernandez Miranda assist in the 86th minute to snatch a crucial three points that will sting Talleres given their territorial dominance, while handing Belgrano a morale-boosting result in a tightly poised title race.
