Outstanding performance
Unión Santa Fe•MidfielderUnión Santa Fe won an entertaining, momentum-swinging encounter despite being outplayed statistically, managing just 46% possession but converting four of their shots on target compared to Instituto's single effort. The hosts struck first through Mosevich early on, but Cuello dragged Instituto level before halftime, only for Tarragona to restore the lead three minutes into the second half off a Cuello assist. A mass substitution flurry around the 70-minute mark reshaped both sides, and Misael Aguirre's fresh-legs strike in the 74th minute looked to have sealed it at 3-1. Instituto refused to fold, though, with substitute Hernán de la Fuente pulling one back in the 87th minute to set up a tense finish, but Unión Santa Fe held on for a result that lifts them while leaving Instituto to reflect on wasted second-half energy despite dominating possession and corners 7-2.

Bottom-of-the-table Unión Santa Fe try to snap a rough patch against an Instituto side that's climbed to mid-table respectability. With Unión desperate for points and Instituto chasing consistency, this Clausura clash carries plenty of edge despite the modest goal expectations.
