Outstanding performance
Racing Club•GoalkeeperRacing Club dominated the ball with 58% possession and out-passed their hosts by over 100 attempts, but Independiente Rivadavia were ruthlessly efficient, converting 9 shots on target into three goals while Racing managed just one from four. The visitors actually took the lead through Matko Miljevic after a well-worked move involving Federico Zaracho, but Gonzalo Ríos leveled things before the break to cap a lively first half that produced six key moments compared to just three after the interval. The turning point came from the bench, as substitute Fabrizio Sartori struck within two minutes of coming on to put the hosts ahead, before Álex Arce - who had missed a penalty in the ninth minute - made amends with a stoppage-time strike to complete the scoring. For Independiente Rivadavia, this result showcases a clinical, chance-hungry approach (19 shots, 6 big chances created) that overcame territorial disadvantage, while Racing will be frustrated at their profligacy in front of goal despite controlling large spells of play.
