Ruch Chorzów delivered a masterclass in clinical finishing to demolish Polonia Bytom 4-0 in what was supposed to be a competitive friendly encounter. The visitors seized complete control within the opening ten minutes through a devastating attacking display, with Patryk Szwedzik netting twice and Shuma Nagamatsu adding another to effectively end the contest before it had truly begun. Polonia's defensive structure crumbled under the early pressure and they never recovered, struggling to create meaningful chances throughout the remainder of the match. This comprehensive victory will provide significant confidence for Ruch heading into their league campaign, while Polonia will need to address serious defensive frailties exposed by their opponents' ruthless efficiency.
Polonia Bytom host rivals Ruch Chorzów in a Silesian derby that carries extra spice despite being a friendly fixture. Both I Liga sides are using this mid-winter break encounter to build fitness and test tactics ahead of their competitive league campaign resumption.
