Rīgas FS vs FC Daugavpils - Club Friendlies

Rīgas FS secured a narrow 1-0 victory over FC Daugavpils in what proved to be a cagey pre-season encounter. The hosts dominated proceedings for large periods but struggled to convert their territorial advantage into clear-cut chances against a well-organized Daugavpils defense. The decisive moment came through a well-worked move that finally broke down the visitors' stubborn resistance. This result will give Rīgas FS confidence as they continue their preparations, while Daugavpils can take positives from their defensive discipline despite the defeat.
