True Bangkok United looked set for a commanding away victory after Muhsen Al-Ghassani's clinical double put them 2-0 up within 33 minutes in this AFC Champions League Two encounter. However, Macarthur showed tremendous character to fight back, with Walter Scott reducing the deficit just before half-time and substitute Harrison Sawyer proving the hero with a dramatic 90th-minute equalizer. The result keeps both sides' continental ambitions alive, though Bangkok will rue letting slip what seemed a comfortable advantage against determined Australian opposition.
