Ratchaburi Mitrphol FC delivered a commanding performance to secure a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Persib in this AFC Champions League Two encounter. The Thai side struck early through Tana's fifth-minute opener, setting the tone for a dominant display that left their Indonesian opponents chasing shadows. Gabriel Mutombo proved to be the decisive figure after his halftime introduction, netting the crucial second goal in the 53rd minute that effectively killed off any hopes of a Persib comeback. This emphatic victory will give Ratchaburi significant momentum in the continental competition, while Persib must regroup quickly from this heavy defeat that exposed defensive frailties and a lack of cutting edge in attack.
