Al Dhafra
Al Bataeh rescued a crucial point against Al Dhafra in a dramatic encounter that saw both goals come from set-piece situations. The visitors took the lead through an unfortunate own goal from Abdullrahman Al Amer in the 28th minute, but Alvaro de Oliveira leveled proceedings from the penalty spot in the 67th minute after being involved in the build-up. The match was characterized by numerous tactical adjustments from both sides, with six substitutions made across the teams as managers sought to find the winning formula. For Al Bataeh, sitting in 13th position, this point keeps them in their fight to climb away from the lower reaches of the table, while Al Dhafra will feel they let two valuable points slip away after taking the early advantage.
