Kickers Offenbach
Mainz 05 II
Kickers Offenbach secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Mainz 05 II in this friendly encounter, with Goselink's 16th-minute strike proving to be the decisive moment. The hosts took control early in the match and managed to hold their advantage throughout the remaining 74 minutes, suggesting a disciplined defensive performance once they had established their lead. This result will provide confidence for Kickers Offenbach as they continue their preparations, while Mainz 05 II will be disappointed not to have found an equalizer despite having the majority of the match to respond. The single goal was enough to separate two evenly-matched sides in what appeared to be a cagey affair with few clear-cut opportunities.
