Rijeka•DefenderRijeka snatched a vital away victory in Cyprus through substitute Daniel Adu-Adjei's late strike, breaking the deadlock with just four minutes remaining. The Croatian side weathered a physical first half that saw five yellow cards distributed before the break, then capitalized on Omonia's growing desperation in the final stages. Adu-Adjei, introduced in the 82nd minute, made an immediate impact by converting Tiago Dantas' precise cross from close range. Omonia's frustrations boiled over late on as substitute Tornike Morchiladze received his second yellow card, leaving the Cypriots down to ten men and unable to mount a response.
