Kawkab Marrakech looked set to claim a vital three points when Souleymane Cissé struck on the stroke of half-time, but Olympic Safi's tactical adjustments at the break proved decisive. The visitors made immediate changes, introducing fresh legs with Y. Najjari and Yassine Kordani, and their persistence paid off when substitute Moussa Koné leveled the score with just three minutes remaining. The draw maintains both teams' mid-table positions in what was a typical relegation battle encounter - cagey, physical, and ultimately decided by fine margins and tactical substitutions.
