Tractor Sazi
Sepahan
Tractor Sazi secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Sepahan in what proved to be a defensively resolute performance at home. Mehdi Hashemnejad's 34th-minute strike was the difference-maker, as the hosts managed to protect their slender lead despite facing significant pressure in the second half. The match's complexion changed dramatically when Mohammad Amin Hazbavi received his marching orders in the 76th minute after picking up a second yellow card, forcing Sepahan to chase the game with ten men. This vital three points will provide much-needed breathing room for Tractor Sazi in their fight to climb away from the lower reaches of the table, while Sepahan's struggles continue as they failed to capitalize on their opponent's numerical disadvantage.
