“Hooman Rabizadeh converts penalty to give Shams Azar Qazvin the breakthrough”
Pivotal“Hamidreza Taherkhani shown second yellow card, leaving Mes Rafsanjan with nine men”
Shams Azar Qazvin
Mes Rafsanjan
Shams Azar Qazvin secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Mes Rafsanjan in a match that was effectively decided by discipline and clinical finishing. The hosts took control midway through the second half when Hooman Rabizadeh converted from the penalty spot, before the visitors' task became increasingly difficult as they finished with nine men following red cards to both Majid Nasiri and Hamidreza Taherkhani. Reza Mohammadi sealed the victory with a stoppage-time strike, capitalizing on Mes Rafsanjan's numerical disadvantage. This result should provide valuable momentum for Shams Azar Qazvin in their mid-table push, while Mes Rafsanjan will need to address their disciplinary issues that ultimately cost them any chance of taking points from this fixture.
