Eilenburg secured a commanding 2-0 victory over Zwickau in this friendly encounter, with both goals coming in the second half to break the deadlock. The match remained goalless through a cagey first 45 minutes before Zaruba opened the scoring just before the hour mark, giving the hosts the breakthrough they needed. Henkel sealed the victory with five minutes remaining, capitalizing on Zwickau's push for an equalizer to double Eilenburg's advantage. The result will provide valuable momentum for Eilenburg heading into their competitive fixtures, while Zwickau will need to address their inability to convert chances in what proved to be a one-sided affair once the deadlock was broken.
