Sepahan completed a dramatic comeback victory over Esteghlal Khuzestan in a thrilling encounter that saw the home side overturn an early deficit with character and clinical finishing. After falling behind to Amirhossein Jalalivand's 11th-minute opener, Sepahan responded through Arash Rezavand's equalizer just before halftime to shift momentum. The second half belonged to the hosts, with Kaveh Rezaei's 71st-minute strike putting them ahead before a chaotic finale saw Arya Yousefi's red card lead to a penalty that Ricardo Alves converted to seal the win. This victory strengthens Sepahan's position in what appears to be a crucial phase of the season, while Esteghlal Khuzestan will rue their inability to hold onto an early advantage that could have changed their campaign trajectory.
