Outstanding performance
FC Barcelona•MidfielderBarcelona dominated Atlético Madrid with a commanding 3-0 victory in this Copa del Rey clash, built on set-piece excellence and clinical finishing. Marc Bernal was the standout performer with a brilliant brace, scoring twice from close range after expertly delivered corners from Lamine Yamal and João Cancelo. Raphinha's penalty just before halftime effectively killed the contest after Pedri was fouled by Marc Pubill in the box. Barcelona's tactical approach centered on exploiting Atlético's weakness defending corners, while Diego Simeone's side struggled to create clear chances despite Ademola Lookman's near-miss. This result propels Barcelona deeper into the Copa del Rey and maintains their excellent cup form, while Atlético must regroup after a disappointing defensive display.
