Francisco Silva's hat-trick spearheaded Benfica U19's dominant 6-2 victory over AZ U19 in this UEFA Youth League encounter. The Portuguese side established complete control early, racing to a 3-0 lead within 24 minutes through Silva's clinical finishing and Jaden Umeh's strike. Despite AZ briefly responding through Bendegúz Kovács' penalty, Benfica never allowed their visitors back into the contest, with Silva completing his treble before the break and further goals from Gonçalo Moreira and Miguel Figueiredo sealing the rout. The comprehensive win strengthens Benfica's position in the competition and showcases the depth of talent in their youth setup, while AZ's defensive frailties were ruthlessly exposed despite Kovács grabbing a late consolation.
