Chennaiyin FC and Goa shared the spoils in a dramatic encounter that saw both sides exchange late blows in what appears to be a crucial title race fixture. Irfan Yadwad's second-half opener in the 48th minute looked to have settled the contest in Chennaiyin's favor, with the substitute making an immediate impact after his early introduction due to tactical changes. However, veteran defender Sandesh Jhingan had other ideas, rising to head home a dramatic equalizer just three minutes from time to rescue a vital point for Goa. The match was a cagey affair with both teams showing defensive discipline, evidenced by the flurry of substitutions in the second half as coaches sought fresh legs and tactical adjustments in what was clearly a high-stakes encounter.
