Odisha FC
Odisha FC delivered a commanding performance to secure a convincing 4-1 victory over NorthEast United, with the match effectively decided by a crucial red card in the first half. After an early exchange of goals between Rahul Kannoly Praveen and Macarton Louis Nickson, Subham Bhattacharya put Odisha ahead before Muthu Irulandi Mayakkannan's violent conduct dismissal left the hosts with a mountain to climb. Rahul Kannoly Praveen was the standout performer, netting a brace to showcase his clinical finishing, while an unfortunate own goal from Macarton Louis Nickson compounded NorthEast's misery. This comprehensive win will boost Odisha's confidence and league standing, while NorthEast United must regroup quickly from this heavy home defeat that exposed their vulnerability when down to ten men.
