Maghreb Fès secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Yacoub El Mansour in what proved to be a tale of two halves. After Soufiane Benjdida gave the visitors an early lead with a well-taken strike in the 26th minute, El Mansour responded through Brahim Mansouri's equalizer on the stroke of half-time. The second half saw both managers ring the changes with multiple substitutions, but it was Maghreb Fès who found the decisive moment when H. Afsal netted the winner in the 74th minute. This result extends Maghreb Fès's positive momentum in the title race while leaving El Mansour to reflect on missed opportunities in a match that saw six yellow cards and plenty of tactical adjustments from both sides.
