Outstanding performance
Yunnan Yukun•AttackerYunnan Yukun made their quality count in a ruthless first-half display, going 2-0 up before the break through Cléber and Oscar Maritu despite Liaoning Tieren actually dominating possession and dangerous attacks. The visitors had more of the ball and doubled Yunnan's dangerous attack tally, but their profligacy in front of goal - just one shot on target all match - proved fatal. Cléber's second-half header and Bunyamin Abdusalam's close-range finish extinguished any hope of a comeback, before Cléber completed his hat-trick in stoppage time to put a gloss on a dominant scoreline that didn't fully reflect the balance of play. For Yunnan Yukun this result is a statement amid a tight title race, while Liaoning Tieren will need to regroup fast after a performance that saw territory and pressure count for nothing against a sharper, more clinical opponent.
