Outstanding performance

Zhejiang tore into Yunnan Yukun from the opening whistle, scoring twice inside the first four minutes through Marko Tolic and Alexandru Mitrița to set the tone for a demolition. Mitrița was the architect of the rout, completing his hat-trick via a 29th-minute strike and a 39th-minute penalty, while Jin-seob Park and Qianglong Tao added further goals either side of halftime to make it 6-0 barely a minute into the second period. The dominance was reflected across the statistics - Zhejiang out-shot their opponents 16-13 but were far more clinical, landing 10 shots on target compared to Yunnan Yukun's 5, while creating five big chances to their opponents' solitary one. For Zhejiang, sitting fourth but very much alive in the title conversation, this was a statement of intent; for Yunnan Yukun, already fighting to escape the relegation zone, it was a chastening reminder of the gulf in class at the top of the table.
